So, in my junior year high school history class we did a reenactment of the constitutional convention in which we all played roles and decided on what a good constitution would be. I was assigned the role of anti-federalist and managed to convince everyone not only to follow my anti-federalist agenda, but also that the serving term of a president should be two and a half years instead of four, that the senate was a bad idea, and that people from Virginia shouldn't be allowed to run for president. Also, that we should burn June (sevendayloan) at the stake for witchcraft.

Later that year I convinced them that the majority of Russia was on the European continent.

I should probably use my awesome powers of persuasion for good and not evil.

- After a good run of my drama group's Steel Magnolias (I was Ouiser), I've decided a career in acting is worth a shot. I figure this might be one of those junctures in my life that I'll look back on when I'm broke, waiting tables, and sleeping on my cousin's couch in Los Angeles, but it makes me happy.
- I didn't participate in NaNoWriMo. I was waaay too busy, there was no way it was going to happen, but it still makes me a little sad. November came and went so quickly that I don't think I could have possibly written 50k. I don't know how I did it last year.
- Even though I didn't write a whole lot, I did get some work done on my short story anthology Reasoning in Dream Logic and now I'm looking for a proofreader/someone to give me feedback, so if anyone's interested, message me and I'll send a few to you. I think it's shaping up.
- Instances of mean girls being mean were relatively low; I made at least fifteen new friends. Overall a social win.
- I went to the Star Trek museum and had my picture taken in the captain's chair. Easily made my month.
- Overall month rating: 9/10. It was a good month.

- Six new episodes of Dollhouse this month. For three weeks I can pretend that it's not even canceled.
- I want to finish another three short stories for the anthology. At this rate I could be done by February.
- No more putting off work. Ever. At all. Starting after I write this entry, because I'm ignoring that fat stack of econ/civics papers I still need to organize... and finish.
- Finish driver's education, because I'm pretty sure people are sick of giving me rides everywhere. Ungh. Driver's ed.
- Have a happy Christmas. Get my tree down before January and not February (like last year).

Last night I had a dream that I was fighting zombies with Fran Kranz and Diana Agron. No more Hulu after ten.

sevendayloan and I are starting up a webcomic, soon. It'll be boss, keep an eye out.

Writing has become suddenly painful for me. Writer's block has never been this bad before.

On a less wangsty, more fandomy note, I'm now caught up on Warehouse 13 and Eureka and both are substandard in my opinion, though WH13 is getting better. Leverage continues to be my favorite summer show. Blargh, it's even hard to be opinionated with this stupid mother-of-all-writer's-blocks.

I was down on my nerdery quota for the week, so I named my new computer Echo, because it's pretty and programmable.

 I was watching season 1 of buffy with my friends in saturation, and while we were watching the pack, there was this one shot of xander and his dingo friends walking through the campus (cap). The whole time all I could think was "lol, cullens".

Obligatory wangst first - I'm really not enjoying the bio class I'm taking, but I also really would like to graduate, so, you know.

Besides that I feel like there's not nearly enough fandom in my life, probably because of the TV hiatus, so I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for TV shows you think I'd like? If anyone knows fandom, it's you guys.

In a bizarre twist of fate, I have so many friends I can't manage them all. Basically all of my friends know I'm a nerd, and a bunch of them decided they wanted to go see Star Trek this weekend. I was like, okay, it'll be my third time, but sure! It was fun!

Except they couldn't decide on a single day, but were all very insistent that sevendayloan and I show up, so I'm going for my fourth time tomorrow.
